The word "technically."

"Well, technically speaking..."

"Technically, you could say..."

"I suppose that you are technically correct..."


I'm not sure people are using it a) consistently, and b) correctly.

And I can't think of a way to use the word "technically" that isn't COMPLETELY snarky....

my personal peeves? "Impacted" and "hopefully."
