We just learned that our CEO and board have made a mutual decision to send the (former) CEO merrily on his way. The board has uplifted one of the super-senior on-deck guys to be the new-and-improved BMOC.

I was on a conference call when I read the announcement of the new CEO. I nearly yelled out "Holy crap they fired Gordon Gecko!"
Luckily I bit my tongue... and the scar will heal eventually...
