What's the vernal equivalent of Indian summer? This would be where the snow all melts in February, but you know that there will be yet another cold period coming soon.
Because that's what we have.

Along with a sea of mud as far as the eye can wander. Gawd, I love the Midwest.
Ours is melting as we speak. It's 40 today and people are wearing shorts. I can almost see my lawn. And the Barbies are poking through the snow! It will get cold again, it will snow again but this is a really nice little break.
Maybe we can choose what to call it.
Harbinger Thaw?
Spring Frottage?
Strawberry Spring.
The longer it lasts, the worse the howling storm that brings winter back will be, according to my Scots grandmother.
It's supposed to be in the low fifties/high forties all week here in SE PA, and i have a feeling that we're really going to get buried under a blizzard late next week.
Spring Tease?
