Turkey Dream

The other day, I dreamt that I was doing some kind of detective or bounty hunter work. My task was to find the turkey killer. Not a person who killed turkeys, but a turkey who was a killer. He was on the lam.

I had a number of close misses, but eventually I tracked him down. He was marching in a Thanksgiving parade, and he was dressed as a Gilded Age industrialist. I knew it was he, because his beak was broken in such a way as to give him a distinct underbite.

The event of his capture was the end of the dream. I don't recall if I woke up right away or if I had another dream in between, but the turkey's fate is still unknown.

It's best that way. Things go off-course when bounty hunters start administering justice.
