I Love a Parade

We went to the Small Town Labor Day parade today.  Small Town High School's marching band, starring Son Lastname on the cymbals, marched through with much fanfare.

GPop and I sat with Eggbert Terwilliger and Marcot Ravenswatch.  Our goal was to count queens.  We decided to predict the number of queens, which we loosely defined as "girl wearing a tiara and sash."  This would also include any emergency backup princesses, duchesses, marquesses, baronesses, and countesses.  Marcot said 12.  GPop said 15.  I said 23.  Eggbert predicted 32.

There were 51.  Fifty-one girls in tiaras and sashes.
