Morning Glow

This morning, I took a few minutes to observe the moon through my telescope before I headed off to work.  I don't have a mechanism whereby I can photograph the image, but it was beautiful.

I tried to get Venus into the viewer, but I couldn't get the telescope to cooperate.  Perhaps some nice binoculars would do the trick.

Really, It would be great to see moon in the morning just before going to office. Its not posible for most of us to see the moon in morning. I could just imagine, waching the moon and going to office.....I mean Great feeling to have with you to the office.

Maqsood, welcome. The telescope is an 8-inch with computer control, although the control is a bit sketchy.

The 100-150 foot pine trees limit the use of my telescope. I had 50 trees removed which were a danger, so I have a small bowl of sky! I've occasionally fantasized about building an observation tower.
Maybe when I am rich!

Alice, if you ever do build such a tower, build it so it looks lie a Dr. Seuss construction. That would be cool.

The pergola I built came out very nice, but if I EVER tried to build a tower, it WOULD look like a Dr. Seuss creation no matter what!!
